Communicating with Impact

and Listening Affirmatively

How do we communicate with impact?

How do we know we are being heard?

Effective listening is a skill that underpins all positive human

relationships. Listening with the intent to support and affirm

fostershealthy and productive relationships among team members,

and is the key to creating stress free environments.

Perhaps the most important thing we ever give each other is our focused attention. Studies have shown that, whereas speaking raises blood pressure, listening brings it down. And landing your communications with impact and getting the results you want is directly linked to how skilled you are at listening.
